If you are joining our 3rd ALIVE National Centre Annual Symposium online we invite you to start some of the steps for the co-creation of our Holistic Formations Call to Action Casting the Net for What Matters in Holistic Systems. If you are not able to attend, don’t worry, you can share your contributions using this online space and be a part of the call as well.
As we leave the colonial structures of Old Parliament House behind on Friday 15th March, we move into the Botanical Gardens for Saturday 16th March where the ALIVE National Centre’s Casting the Net for What Matters in Holistic Systems will be launched. Read on below for next steps.
Pick one topic from the following and share your contributions on what matters for that particular topic:
1 – Belonging for Friendship
2 – Beyond Services for Interconnection
3 – The Past for Deep Listening
4 – Planetary Health for Inner Experiences
5 – Treatment for Responsiveness
6 – Planned Environment for Spirit
7 – Sense of Policy Safety
8 – Experiential Knowledge for Holistic Impacts

We are casting the net for what matters in holistic systems to ensure that the Australian Government’s National Well-Being Framework accounts for what matters for people with lived-experience of mental ill-health, and for people experiencing the ongoing impacts of trauma, colonisation, racism, abuse and violence in communities, and for carer, family and kinship groups. In short, anything that is looking at well-being needs to include what matters for the people most impacted by the government’s Measuring What Matters framework and to ask what matters for whom?
