As early career researchers it sometimes seems difficult to secure funding without having yet met all the milestones for our track record. But getting to these milestones, by publishing and leading projects, often requires us to secure funding. Do you have any advice to ECRs who are applying for funding but have been met with this feedback by reviewers?
