She appeared like a spotlight,
a sudden flash of lighting struck,
instantly taking my breath away,
breathing but gasping for air,
choking while swallowing my pride.
When i turned to look back,
there was nothing but a shadow,
yet it was my own; standing alone,
she approached like the tide; so fast-
retreating back to where she came,
into the depths of a mysterious sea,
dictated by the current of her heart.
I guess i missed another chance,
a window was open for me,
her breeze calmed me down,
i felt her before seeing her,
i heard her before seeing her,
i loved her before knowing her.
Apparently when it rains it pours,
yet she was not a mere raindrop,
she was a diamond from the sky,
shining through with her light,
both introspection and reflection.
