I saw this seaweed all tangled up like the pathways in Phillip’s artwork. The small white pods reminded me of people nested together trying to support each other amongst tangled pathways in care.
Out to the distance is the calmness of the ocean that can provide wellbeing for people in the mess of the system.
The seaweed even though tangled in a pile here with the pods scattered around, continues to symbolise the possibility of nourishment and our needs to look after the planet with its interconnection with the fragile ecosystems surrounding this.
