When I 1st met my current psychologist more than 10 yrs ago, i remember her asking about my dreams and to write them down which was super fun and helpful.
The talks with my psychologist about dreams was really helpful ,bringing spirituality into the picture after going through horrific domestic and sexual violence which also affected my 3 children
I was having very vivid violent dreams and taking notice of them was super helpful in bringing out the trauma
The dreams slowly became lighter and less violent
If other psychologists and counsellors also did this it would be very impactful
